  • Willing to learn areas they may not already have experience in
  • Full driving licence

Useful but not essential

  • Formal IT qualification
  • Pervious professional experience in IT or computer repair
  • Experience with networking
  • Website / eCommerce experience

What It’s Like Working at DTec

DTec Computers is an established local computer business with stores in Carlisle and Penrith.

We’re a small team and the working environment is relaxed and friendly, while still being busy and customer-focused

This isn’t a corporate IT helpdesk role and it isn’t a high-pressure retail sales position.

Most of your time will be spent working directly with computers — repairing them, building them, upgrading them and solving problems.

There is a customer-facing side to the job, both in-store and occasionally over the phone, so you do need to be comfortable talking to people and offering advice, but we’re not looking for a pushy salesperson.

  Interested? Apply Now.

If this sounds like the sort of job you’d enjoy, we’d like to hear from you.

You don’t need to write a formal covering letter. Tell us a little about yourself, your experience with computers and why you think the role would suit you.
